There are many rapid tooling methods from direct layer-build from CAD models (much like rapid prototyping processes) or high-speed machining into resins and metals. Not one method suits all products; however through the last decade, we have been involved in the test & development of processes for Rapid Tooling with universities and European development teams. This insight has guided our own investment & methods to favour high-speed machining of hard-aluminium. Having the expertise in production tool making & moulding, coupled with the innovation and versatility of our own patternmakers & model makers has given us a real competitive edge in this area.
